Databricks Engineer
Role Overview:
The Databricks Engineer will partner closely with the architecture leader to manage and build out our Human Capital Data Lake Databricks environment. This role is critical for building scalable data pipelines, ensuring secure access, and driving innovation in data engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Databricks workspaces, clusters, and configurations.
- Design and implement data pipelines in databricks for new data sources, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Develop and enforce Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) policies for secure data access.
- Write efficient, maintainable code in pyspark for data processing and automation tasks.
- Collaborate with architecture and analytics teams to align data engineering solutions with enterprise standards.
- Continuously explore and implement innovative approaches to optimize data workflows and scalability.
Scope:
This role spans enterprise-level data engineering initiatives, supporting ingestion, transformation, and governance across multiple platforms. The engineer will play a key role in enabling advanced analytics and operational reporting strategies.
