Learning and Development Specialist, Amazon Shipping
Job Description
We're seeking an experienced Learning Specialist to design, develop, and deliver innovative learning solutions for Amazon Shipping Sales and Program teams. You'll ensure our teams and leaders are equipped with both technical expertise and leadership capabilities by creating engaging learning experiences. This role will support our mission of excellence through effective training programs. This person will closely work on building learning plans for Springboard mechanism, lead sales org L&D and scale ups/LBD plans for new hires for the entire org.
Key job responsibilities
1. Design and develop comprehensive learning programs aligned with Amazon Shipping operational needs
2. Create engaging training content using various modalities (eLearning, instructor-led, virtual, blended approaches)
3. Partner with operations leaders to identify training gaps and learning opportunities
4. Measure and analyze training effectiveness through data-driven metrics
5. Maintain and update training materials to reflect current processes and best practices
6. Coach and support operations trainers to ensure consistent delivery of learning programs
7. Implement Amazon's standardized training methodologies while adapting to local needs1. Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field
2. Experience (5+ yrs) in corporate learning and development
3. Proven track record in designing adult learning programs
4. Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
5. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
