We're seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager to lead the Events & Deals Customer Experience (CX) initiatives for Emerging Markets at Amazon, with a strong focus on implementing Generative AI solutions to scale. This role will shape how millions of customers across markets discover and engage with deals and events during major shopping events across Amazon Emerging Markets This role is inherently high-visibility and cross-functional, requiring synergy and influence with many global product, marketing and business units across Amazon. A successful candidate will be highly organized, analytical, excel at managing and influencing broad global stakeholder groups, able to work extremely effectively in a complex organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of inputs into a successful event. This will require excellent written and oral communication skills, data-driven analyses and insights, excellent business judgment, strong interpersonal skills, deep curiosity about how things work, and a passion for customers. S/he must enjoy context-switching and operating at all levels of the organization to deliver results. A successful candidate will be a thought leader who inspires other teams by example to invent and execute on behalf of Amazon’s customers.
Key job responsibilities
This role is responsible for not only running high fidelity events but also has to invent and simplify on behalf of various operational teams. This includes identifying and driving significant efficiency improvement and effort reduction via new processes and / or process improvements across multiple teams. - Build an inspiring Deals & Events roadmap for Amazon Emerging Markets - Deep dive and understand customer pain points while shopping for Deals and Promotions on Amazon, and solve them through innovative solutions, leveraging technology - Partner with global Deals product and tech stakeholders to adapt solutions to suit Emerging Market customer and selling partner nuances - Influence several WW leadership teams to leverage their solutions, including and not limited to personalization, Deals and Promotions CX, UX, GenAI, Marketing technology teams - Work with cross-functional stakeholders to align business objectives, identify and leverage broader synergies and manage trade-offs, including teams of software engineers, applied machine learning scientists, product managers, user interface designers, and others - Demonstrate strong ability to write detailed product business requirements, excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work effectively and influence multiple global teams, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment- 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
