Sr. Product Manager - Tech, Amazon Music

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Product Manager to lead the Auto team in Amazon Music globally. The Auto team manages 7+ individual visual surfaces, providing safe, consistent, and easy-to-use interfaces for accessing customers' favorite music, podcasts, and audiobooks in the car. Auto surfaces include phone-based interfaces (i.e., Car Mode), visual clients displayed on the vehicle screen (i.e., CarPlay, Android Auto), embedded interfaces running natively in the car (Android Automotive OS, as well as navigation app integrations (i.e., Waze, Google Maps), and direct 3P integrations with OEMs.

Auto clients are responsible for a sizeable percentage of Amazon Music's active users and act as an important driver of customer engagement and retention. In this role you will own the product vision and roadmap for Amazon Auto that leads at the intersection of rapidly evolving auto tech and music experiences and delivers a core music CX at the highest quality. You will create, define, test and iterate on new features and functionality that drive KPIs through a robust slate of ongoing experiments, partnering closely with design and engineering. You will lean into customer research and engagement data to prioritize and iterate on features, partnering closely with business intelligence to identify new ways to analyze and view data. You will partner closely with Personalization teams to show customers the most relevant content for customers while in the car and business development to develop experiences that meet the requirements for OEM integrations.

A successful candidate will be highly analytical, able to communicate and lead effectively across a broad group of stakeholders including senior leaders and have a growth mindset that is open to experimentation and learning. The role requires a strong sense of ownership to deliver results, earns trust to influence across teams, and bias for action to design, build, test and iterate at a fast pace. The ideal will have experience running A/B experimentation at scale and communicate learnings across the organization.

Key job responsibilities
• Create a vision and determine KPI’s for Auto on Amazon Music grounded in customer research, customer usage data and industry trends
• Create and drive the Auto product roadmap including feature definition, UX, tradeoffs and simplifiers
• Run lots of experiments— design, testing, weblabs and analysis
• Analyze customer research and data, work with BI to create dashboards
• Global stakeholder management
• Create mechanisms to drive product alignment and decision making across marketing, labels and industry teams
• Communicate with senior level executives

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- 2+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
