Wealth Management Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Business. Practice areas include: Analytics, Intelligence, & Data Technology (AIDT), Client Platforms, Core Technology Services (CTS), Financial Advisor Platforms, Global Banking Technology (GBT), Investment Solutions Technology (IST), Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST), Technology Delivery Management (TDM), User Experience (UX), and the CAO team.
Core Platform Services
Core Platform Services is responsible for driving Resiliency, Automation, Performance, Stability, and Efficiency across Wealth Management Technology.
QA Engineering
This is Director position that devises test strategies, conducts and/or coordinates tests, and identifies defects to maintain high standards of performance and reliability.

What you’ll do in the role:
• Deliver innovative performance engineering solutions across multiple business products, ensuring seamless user experiences.
• Lead project deliverables end-to-end, developing trust and confidence with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business, Dev, SRE) to gather requirements and develop robust performance testing strategies.
• Demonstrate expertise in performance testing methodologies and provide actionable recommendations based on outcomes.
• Design and implement realistic production scenarios and correct workload models for load testing.
• Automate business transactions to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Troubleshoot both server-side and client-side issues using monitoring tools.
• Pinpoint performance bottlenecks and assist teams in building scalable and performant products.
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions to meet long-term business objectives.
What you’ll bring to the role:
• At least 4 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
• Minimum 5 years’ progressive experience in performance engineering.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Proven experience driving E2E performance engineering lifecycles.
• Hands-on expertise with automation tools (Load Runner, JMeter).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Grafana); ability to write custom Linux/Unix commands.
• Proficiency in extracting logs and traces using LogQL and PromQL queries.
• Good to have: Working knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, .Net or Python).
• Engineering mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Passion for building new frameworks and contributing innovative ideas to the group.
