JD Edwards is an enterprise solution for managing business processes and solving business challenges for any-size business with a 48 year heritage with development centers spread across Denver & IDC (India) working together as a single team. Critical issues are monitored and worked on a 24X7 model – with efficient collaboration between these locations. The development center has dedicated Development, Quality Testing & Information Development Teams.

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, manual and automation testing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.

Role Objective: Short Description about the Role

Role Summary: Qualifications and Special skills

Qualification:

BE/ B.Tech/ MCA (Graduate or equivalent degree).

Candidate should have more than 2 years of experience in Development using Java/J2EE and JavaScript.

Should have had prior experience with software development, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Perform duties and tasks which are standard with some variation.

Display understanding of roles, processes and procedures.

Perform moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes.

Did not sit for an interview with us in the last 6 months.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs manual and automation testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the Product Development division, you will perform detailed design based on provided high level design specifications. Assist in system planning, scheduling and implementation. Build enhancements (including new product features) and resolve bugs. Build and execute unit test and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by tester. Interact with tester and porting engineering about problems in the code.

BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 3 years of software engineering or related experience.

Required Skills: Object Oriented Principles, Java/J2EE, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON HTML, XML, Oracle Jet, Knockout, Node JS.

Special Skills:

Possess experience with C & Basic Database Structure.

Possess experience with software development tools such as Jdeveloper, developer tools etc..

Possess experience with, preferably, JDE applications / exposure to JDE development Tools

Demonstrate basic understanding of domain for which applications are being developed

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to Agile development methodologies.

Exposure to Oracle Web center portal.

Understanding Application Servers such as Oracle WebLogic Server or IBM WebSphere Application Server.

Good understanding of C.

Any candidate with prior JD Edwards experience would be a plus.
