Department Description

Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure team is building new Infrastructure-as-a-Service technologies that operate at high scale in a broadly distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. Our customers run their businesses on our cloud, and our mission is to provide them with best in class compute, storage, networking, database, security, and an ever-expanding set of foundational cloud-based services. At the heart of OCI is Identity and Access Management Service, which provides security to OCI infrastructure as well as solutions built on top of OCI Infrastructure such as PaaS, SaaS, and software developed on top of OCI or OCI PaaS.

OCI IAM offers a challenging and non-routine task for tech geeks, which is to build multi-tenant, highly available, distributed, and resilient Identity and Access management service – Identity Management (Users, Groups, Dynamic Groups, Instance Principal, and Devices), Identity Provisioning, Synchronization, and Identity Lifecycle management, Single Sign-on, Multi-Factor Authentication, Biometric Authentication, Passwordless Authentication, Federated Authentication, Privileged Access Management, Adaptive Access Management, CARTA (Continuous Adaptive Risk and Trust Assessment), and Authorization Service – and to develop infrastructure components required for building IAM service.
