Job Description

This role will primarily manage the reporting, forecasting, and automation marketing data for the Amazon Selling Partner API Marketing & Enablement team. This individual will also help with ad-hoc initiatives that support our key business goals. This individual will work closely with Spectrum Business Intelligence organization. The candidate relishes working with large volumes of data, and has experience both developing queries and distilling data into actionable insights. The candidate should be able to apply a breadth of tools, data sources and analytical techniques to answer a wide range of high-impact business questions and present the insights in concise and effective manner. Additionally, the candidate should be an effective communicator capable of independently driving issues to resolution and communicating insights to non-technical audiences. The individual passionately partners with the customers to identify strategic opportunities in the field of Marketing Analytics. They are a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big (while paying careful attention to detail) and enjoys working in a fast-paced team that continuously learns and evolves on a day to day basis. This role reports to Leader of SP-API Marketing. The role is based in India.

Key job responsibilities
• Own data analysis and automation (including developing SQL queries), and be able to transform data into meaningful and actionable formats and dashboards.
• Develop, standardize and maintain business critical metrics, analysis, and reporting, based on understanding of the business objectives.
• Build scalable solutions for new and ongoing reports, analyses, and dashboards to support business needs.
• Conduct deep dive business analysis when a critical business trend or data outlier is detected
• Collaborate with various business stakeholders to drive consistent and effective data and business insights
• Lead special project to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing insights reporting.
• Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big and pay careful attention to detail.
• Work in a fast-paced team that evolves on a day-to-day basis.
• Build scalable solutions for new and ongoing reports, analyses, and dashboards to support business needs.

About the team
The Sellng Partner API Marketing team tells Spectrum’s most important and interesting stories to educate developers about what is possible when they build using our Selling Partner APIs and provide relevant information based on where they are on their adoption path. We ensure that developers have communications to discover, understand, onboard and adopt APIs and manage existing integrations to achieve success specific to their needs, which we define as the ability of developers to bring new Selling Partners to Amazon and maximize their business impact.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Hyderabad, TS, IND- 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
