About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on and strategic Engineering Lead for Mobile Application Development to lead our mobile engineering initiatives. This role will be responsible for overseeing the development and deployment of our mobile applications, built with React Native, .NET APIs, and hosted on Azure. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled leader who can drive product delivery, implement best practices, and lead a talented team toward creating exceptional mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of mobile engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture. Provide guidance and support for technical and professional growth.
Architecture & Development: Define architecture and lead the development of mobile applications using React Native, integrated with backend services in .NET. Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, design, and cloud implementation.
Product Delivery: Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and QA teams to drive end-to-end product delivery. Prioritize features, manage timelines, and ensure the team meets project milestones.
API Integration: Oversee the design and development of RESTful APIs in .NET, ensuring robust integration and scalability of mobile applications.
Security & Compliance: Ensure that mobile solutions adhere to industry security standards and compliance requirements, implementing best practices in API security and data privacy.
Architecture & Design: Guide architectural decisions and system design to ensure scalability, reliability, and security, with a strong focus on RESTful APIs and microservices.
Automation & Non-functional requirements: Establish and enforce standards for code quality, performance, and security. Lead the team in adopting test-driven development, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, UX/UI, and DevOps, to align technology with business goals.
Route to Live: Manage deployments, monitor performance, and ensure seamless mobile releases in App store and play store.
Qualifications
15+ years of experience in software development with a focus on mobile applications, .NET, and RESTful APIs.
3+ years of experience in a leadership role managing mobile development teams.
Proven expertise in React Native for mobile app development.
Strong knowledge of .NET for backend development and REST API design.
Experience with Azure Cloud services, including app deployment, monitoring, and security management.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
Desired Skills
Excellent team management and communication skills.
Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
Proficiency in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing applications for performance.
Experience with modern front-end frameworks is a plus.
