The performance marketing specialist will work collaboratively with our team to build, manage, optimize, and evolve our paid search and paid social campaigns. You will be responsible for developing and executing data-driven strategies, continuously monitoring and optimizing campaigns, and providing expert guidance to both leadership and internal teams.
Your role extends beyond the day-to-day management of campaigns. You will be expected to uncover actionable insights, develop innovative processes, and contribute to the overall growth and success of Amazon Autos’ digital marketing efforts. This will involve collaboration with various departments, such as creative, business development/growth, and dealer/seller success teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to performance marketing. Additionally, this role will require some collaboration with centralized Amazon teams.
As a performance marketing specialist, you will demonstrate a deep understanding of the ever-evolving digital marketing landscape, staying up-to-date on the latest industry trends and best practices. You will leverage this knowledge to create compelling ad copy, optimize landing pages, and develop targeted keyword strategies that maximize ROI for Amazon Autos.
* Pay-per-click strategy: Develop and execute data-driven performance strategies, A/B testing, and campaign optimization. Uncover actionable insights to maximize ROI and continuously monitor campaigns to ensure alignment with Autos goals.
* End-to-End Campaign Management: Own the implementation of strategies across Amazon-owned properties, ensuring attention to detail, while taking a data-driven approach. This could mean everything from developing and managing regional campaigns, to testing new creatives or copy, to making recommendations for future campaign optimizations or structures.
* Campaign Reporting: Monitor and speak to regular performance reports on campaigns, focusing on KPIs and high value actions. Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing business intelligence dashboards to monitor campaign status, troubleshoot as needed, measure success, and provide data-driven updates and recommendations to Head of Performance Marketing
* Ad Creative Direction: Work with creative team to influence the design of ads based on learnings to drive improved response, ranging from testing new formats, creative directions, or copy concepts.
* Ad Copy Creation: Work with Copy team to craft engaging, positive, and authentic ad copy for ad platforms, adhering to best practices and platform-specific constraints. Develop ad content that highlights the unique selling propositions and differentiators of Autos. Create compelling landing page copy that maximizes visitor engagement and leverages relevance score opportunities.
* Leadership Communication: Lead ad performance discussions during leadership calls. Provide expert guidance and support to Head of Performance marketing and other departments when communications involve video, audio, and display ad topics, ensuring clear and effective communication of strategies and recommendations.
* Data Analyzation: Examine campaign data to uncover actionable insights that inform strategy and drive the development of new processes. Implement these processes efficiently to enhance campaign performance continuously.

* 1+ years Google Ads experience.
* 1+ years Meta Ads experience
* Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Marketing, Website Development, Digital Media, etc.)
