Job Description

IAM Developer

Duties will include:
Leading business initiates, interacting with other business functions to design, plan, implement and support strategic initiatives in Identity & Access Management at Bechtel for use by its employees and external partners.

Design, deploy, and manage Quest One Identity Manager solutions to meet business and IT security requirements.

Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to integrate Quest One Identity Manager with various systems and applications.

Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls for managing identities and access permissions across the organization.

Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and provide reports on compliance and efficiency.

Troubleshoot and resolve identity management issues and system outages, providing technical support as needed.

Scripting and coding (Python & PowerShell) to meet customer requirements.

Design and implement policy-based access control for identified roles.

Experience in implementing and supporting an Identity Management Solution

Stay up to date with the latest identity management trends and technologies, suggesting improvements and upgrades to enhance security and efficiency.

Conduct training sessions for IT staff and end-users on the proper use of the identity management system.

Basic Qualifications :
Recognized degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited college or university, or specialized courses in networking, information technology, server administration and infrastructure operations, or equivalent work experience in a related field.

5+ years of overall Industry experience

3+ years of experience working with Quest One Identity Manager, including system implementation, configuration, and administration.

3+ years modern authentication mechanisms like PingFederate, ADFS, SAML, Oauth 2.0, Open ID Connect.

Required Skills:

Technical
Strong understanding of identity management principles, LDAP, Active Directory, and access control models.

Knowledge of IT security best practices, compliance standards (e.g., ISO, SOC 2, GDPR), and regulatory requirements.

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., VB.NET PowerShell, SQL) is preferred.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Basic - Active Directory environment which includes forest & domains designing, Site topology, group policies, Authentication (NTLM & Kerberos)

Basic - OS/Network Troubleshooting

Preferred

Certifications related to Quest One Identity Manager, cybersecurity, or IT management are highly desirable.
