Function Description:

Data Management team within Global Servicing MIS supports end to end data lifecycle journey for our business teams. This includes platform ownership, strategy, governance, ingestions, ETL builds, Data Quality, BI & downstream data enablement in collaboration with tech organization.

Key Responsibilities

Promote data accuracy and adherence to global governance practices, as well as driving acceptance of enterprise data standards and policies across the various business segments.
Develop and enforce data quality standards, validation frameworks, and compliance controls aligned with regulatory requirements.
Develop data retention controls in alignment with enterprise policies
Identify areas for data governance improvements and help to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design changes
Developing processes & metrics to measure effectiveness and drive adoption of Data Governance policies and standards that will be applied to mitigate identified risks across the data lifecycle (e.g., capture / production, aggregation / processing, reporting / consumption).
Engage with data stewards, compliance teams, and business users to monitor data governance KPIs and enhance governance maturity.
Advise on various projects and initiatives to ensure that any data related changes and dependencies are identified, communicated, and managed to ensure adherence with the Enterprise Data Governance established standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in data management or financial compliance are preferred.
5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or data architecture, with exposure to Data Quality, Retention and Catalog or similar data governance activities
Ability to partner with both business and technical subject matter experts to ensure standardization of warehousing information and execution of enterprise-wide data governance policies and procedures
Optimizes work processes by balancing effective / efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement. Demonstrates ability to balance between seeing the “big picture” while paying close attention to detail
