Job Description

India Delivery Leader for a Product Transformation program

Act as a lead Delivery owner and enabler for a global program focused on Strategy Consulting, Product Management, Experience Design Innovation and Conversion Rate Optimization

Mentor and Coach India delivery team of 30+ high caliber resources working across different capabilities

Act as a two in a box for onshore delivery counterparts focussed on strategy consulting and Product Management

Engage in owning several areas of the program in terms of co-accountability across workstreams, or end to end ownership of certain workstreams

Be the lead point of contact for India based client counterparts aligned towards the delivery of the program. Act as a key delivery stakeholder / owner for globally located client business leads

Atleast 15 years of experience in the industry, with a large part of that experience geared on driving global delivery of consulting and product innovation functions out of India
Experience with a Big 4 consulting firms or equivalent consulting arms of Global SIs (Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys etc)
Telecom experience is a Plus, Digital Transformation and eCommerce experience is a must
Must have experience in scaling global teams around a program or a practice focussed on Product Management, Consulting or similar functions
Must have partnered with large scale technology implementation setups in-house or external in order to ensure successful delivery of the product roadmap

Client Advisory & Value-Driven Transformation: Lead the transformation of clients into value-driven, customer-centric product organizations by introducing and embedding best practices in product management, value delivery, and continuous innovation.
Innovation & Product Lifecycle Management: Foster an innovation-driven mindset and oversee the entire product development lifecycle using lean and hypothesis-driven approaches. Identify, conceptualize, and pilot new products that create undeniable value for customers and the business.
Client Relationship Development: Build and nurture deep, strategic relationships with key client stakeholders, understanding their business structure, goals, and market landscape to drive impactful outcomes.
Product Vision & Roadmap Execution: Develop and execute a shared product vision and roadmap, owning and evolving the product backlog based on business changes and stakeholder feedback.
Empowering Product Teams: Lead clients in transitioning to empowered product teams that prioritize customer problems and business outcomes, driving strategic growth through innovation and collaboration.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Problem Solving: Orchestrate seamless collaboration between product owners, business sponsors, subject matter experts, and engineering teams. Remove roadblocks and ensure effective communication and problem-solving across teams.
Prioritization & Stakeholder Buy-In: Leverage prioritization frameworks (such as RICE, Value vs. Effort Matrix, and Opportunity Scoring) to balance business needs and stakeholder expectations. Obtain buy-in from stakeholders and resolve conflicts effectively.
Storytelling & Data Synthesis: Effectively communicate insights and complex data through impactful storytelling, ensuring alignment and clarity on product vision and direction
Recruitment & Mentorship: Contribute to organizational growth through active participation in recruiting, community building, mentorship, and sharing best practices and market insights.
Client Collaboration & Travel: Work closely with clients throughout project inception and delivery, with the flexibility to travel if required to ensure project success.

Extensive Product Management Experience: Strong experience in product management, with a strong focus on Agile and Scrum methodologies, and a proven ability to drive the product lifecycle across a diverse portfolio of products.
Agile & Scrum Mastery: Deep understanding and hands-on experience in Agile and Scrum practices, with relevant certifications to back your expertise. Proven ability to mentor and lead teams in Agile best practices.
Data-Driven Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to apply hypothesis-driven problem-solving, leveraging data to validate hypotheses and prioritize solutions. Continuously monitor and analyze key performance indicators to ensure successful product outcomes.
Analytics & Tools Expertise: Experience with analytics platforms and tools is highly desirable, enabling you to make data-driven decisions and recommendations.
Facilitation of Scrum Ceremonies: Lead all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring smooth team operations and continuous delivery.
Executive-Level Interaction & Consulting Skills: Comfortable operating at the C-suite level, driving conversations that merge technology and business insights to create high-value outcomes. Strong consulting skills with an ability to work through ambiguity and formulate thoughtful, persuasive insights.
Interpersonal Skills & Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen actively, persuade stakeholders, and empathize with different perspectives. You can synthesize complex problems into actionable steps with clear communication.
Bias for Action: You demonstrate a clear bias for action, breaking down complex challenges into manageable and practical steps to drive business outcomes effectively.
