Job Description

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Senior QA Engineer with hands-on expertise in Automated Test Framework (ATF) to lead quality assurance efforts across multiple ServiceNow modules. The role involves designing and executing manual and automated test cases, building automation suites using ATF, and ensuring platform releases are stable, compliant, and high quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead QA activities for ServiceNow platform implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.
Design, develop, and maintain Automated Test Framework (ATF) test suites for regression and functional testing.
Work closely with ServiceNow developers, architects, and process owners to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Perform manual testing where automation is not feasible, ensuring functional accuracy and usability.
Validate integrations between ServiceNow and external systems via APIs, MID servers, or other mechanisms.
Support continuous testing as part of CI/CD pipelines using ATF and other automation tools (if applicable).
Document and manage test cases, test results, and defect logs in alignment with QA processes.
Participate in release readiness reviews, identifying quality risks and providing recommendations.
Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to QA process improvements.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) – creation, execution, and maintenance.
Experience testing multiple ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, ITAM, etc.).
Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, flows, and configurations.
Proficiency in manual and automation testing methodologies.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) and understanding of REST/SOAP integrations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment.

Good to Have (Preferred Skills):

Experience with Jenkins, Git, or other CI/CD tools integrated with ServiceNow.
Knowledge of JavaScript (used in ATF scripting or custom validations).
Exposure to ServiceNow upgrade testing and impact assessment.
ServiceNow certifications such as:

Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in relevant modules

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
