We're assembling a talented team to build the foundational rendering platform that will power all Amazon Pay payment pages for our merchants. As a Software Development Engineer on our Merchant Experience team, you will:

- Collaborate closely with senior engineers to architect and develop the technical design for a large-scale, tier-1 back-end and front-end platform
- Work across multiple layers of the stack, including:
- Designing a robust design system and reusable UI components
- Developing high-performance, responsive web applications and widgets
- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to prototyping, development, testing, and deployment
- Work cross-functionally with product managers, UX designers, and client teams to deliver seamless merchant experiences
- Help drive operational excellence and scalability for our rapidly growing tech stack
- Contribute to the hiring and development of top technical talent on the team
