An ideal candidate is expected to
- Work closely with senior engineers to envision and enabling them design, implement and deploy applications that impact the Amazon.xx business with an emphasis on improving seller experience.
- Own the delivery of an integral piece of a system or application.
- Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments
- Assist directly and indirectly in the continual hiring and development of technical talent.
- Create and execute appropriate quality plans, project plans, test strategies and processes for development activities in concert with business and project management efforts

. Ability to embrace external industry trends and pioneer where needed
. Work in close collaboration with team members, leadership, stakeholders and partners to enable high speed delivery meeting and raising quality bar.

- Reviewing process and mechanisms.

About the team
Team has built multiple WW recognised and adopted solutions that have been from the grounds up by the team. It is a team of motivated engineers that strives to raise the bar with their contributions. - 7+ years of engineering experience
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
