AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Amazon QuickSight is looking to hire talented software development manager to build world class data analytics experiences. Amazon QuickSight powers data-driven organizations with unified business intelligence (BI) at hyperscale. With QuickSight, all users can meet varying analytic needs from the same source of truth through modern interactive dashboards, paginated reports, natural language queries and embedded analytics. We recently launched Amazon Q in QuickSight and it enhances business productivity using Generative BI capabilities to accelerate decision-making.

We are looking for seasoned technical leadership and people management in the form of a Software Development Manager. We would like a person with more than a decade of production software development experience who can manage a team of developers, make multi-year architectural decisions and lead R&D efforts to success.

The ideal candidate will lead team of engineers to drive design, architecture, vision for QuickSight services and make a worldwide impact. Software Development Managers at Amazon are expected to quickly understand organizational and product goals and map them to managed project deliverables. They must be able to divide tasks across a team and manage team execution. They are fully responsible for the day to day operations of the team and held to a high standard on the quality of product produced and the quality of ongoing support and maintenance provided to our customers.
