Job Description

The SAP Technical Architect owns and drives the end-to-end SAP technical strategy, ensuring robust landscape design, release governance, and operational excellence for large-scale S/4HANA rollouts in a RISE with SAP Private Edition environment.
Is a seasoned SAP professional, proficient in technical architecture, strategic planning, and governance, with deep expertise in Basis, upgrades, and multi-line landscape management.
Is typically responsible for defining SAP landscape topology, managing N+1 lines for concurrent releases, governing transport and release processes, and overseeing system upgrades and high-availability operations to enable continuous delivery across multiple countries.
Builds skills and expertise in emerging SAP technologies, upgrade methodologies, and automation tools, while fostering best practices in performance tuning, security compliance, and operational resilience.
Collaborates and acts as a team player with Program Management, Basis, Integration, Security, and Business stakeholders, ensuring alignment of technical strategy with business objectives and creating a stable, scalable SAP environment for successful rollouts.

Builds skills and expertise in leadership, staying abreast of industry trends, and cultivating a collaborative and high-performance culture within the software engineering team.5. Collaborates and acts as a team player with cross-functional teams, executives, and stakeholders, fostering a positive and productive environment for successful software development initiatives.

Requires a solid understanding of SAP technical architecture principles and strong leadership skills. Individuals in this role are expected to lead the SAP technical strategy, overseeing landscape design, release governance, and upgrade planning, while ensuring operational excellence. They are responsible for coordinating technical activities across multiple environments (including N+1 lines), providing guidance to Basis and integration teams, and ensuring the stability, scalability, and quality of the SAP ecosystem.
