Job Description

Solution Design & Delivery

Translate business requirements into robust technical designs on SAP S/4HANA; create technical specs, effort estimates, and delivery plans.
Develop and enhance CDS Views, AMDP classes, RAP objects, OData services, Workflows, and Web services (REST/SOAP).
Build and modify Adobe Forms; ensure clean, performant output integrated with business processes.

Build & Quality

Write modern OO‑ABAP adhering to performance, security, and clean-core principles.
Conduct code reviews, unit tests, and support SIT/UAT; drive issue resolution end-to-end.

Integration

Design and maintain integrations with SAP/Fiori, external services, and enterprise apps via OData/REST.

Leadership & People Management

Lead (one or two) end‑to‑end implementations; plan sprints/releases; track delivery against scope, schedule, and quality.
Manage and mentor a team of ABAP developers; set goals, coach on best practices, and foster a high-performance culture.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with functional/architecture teams; communicate clearly with business stakeholders; present solutions and status crisply.

Deployment & Operations

Orchestrate transport/deployment; ensure documentation, traceability, and production readiness.
Proactively monitor, triage, and stabilize applications post go live

Is typically responsible for setting the strategic direction of software development efforts, managing project portfolios, and ensuring effective execution of software engineering initiatives to meet organizational objectives.4. Builds skills and expertise in leadership, staying abreast of industry trends, and cultivating a collaborative and high performance culture within the software engineering team.5. Collaborates and acts as a team player with cross functional teams, executives, and stakeholders, fostering a positive and productive environment for successful software development initiatives.

Our Ideal Candidate

Core Technical

20–22 years in SAP ABAP with strong S/4HANA experience.
Hands-on with RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model).
Expertise in CDS Views, AMDP, OData, Workflow, Web services, and Adobe Forms.

Delivery & Architecture

Proven exposure to estimation, solution design, delivery, and deployment across multiple projects.
Experience leading at least one or two full-cycle implementation projects end to end.
Multiple environment development delivery skill set.

Soft Skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to work independently and engage effectively with functional and business teams.
Strong people management and stakeholder handling.

Must-Have

Performance tuning on HANA‑optimized ABAP and RAP services.
Familiarity with Fiori/UI5 consumption of OData services and security/authorization design.
Exposure to DevOps/ATC/ChaRM/Jira/Azure Boards for delivery governance.
