Job Description

Proficiency in mainframe programming languages (e.g., COBOL, Assembler, REXX), JCL, and related tools. Experience with mainframe operating systems (e.g., z/OS).
Strong experience with mainframe database management systems (e.g., DB2, IMS, VSAM).
Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
10 years of experience working with mainframe systems and applications in a similar role.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Primary Skill

Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
Knowledge of scripting languages or tools for automation (e.g., CLIST, REXX).
Experience with integrating mainframe systems with cloud-based services and technologies.
Relevant certifications in mainframe technologies or related areas are a plus (e.g., IBM Certified System Administrator).
