Your Role and Responsibilities
We are IBM Z/OSMF (Z Operating System, Management Facility), professional working on Z Enterprise Systems that build simplied web based UI to manage various aspects of z/OS. It helps in improving productivity of z/OS System Programmer productivity. It provides this ability through simplified , streamlined and automated tasks in the form of workflows that are quite easy to learn and use. z/OSMF provides both browser based and programmatic interfaces. It provide paltform and language independent REST APIs to write custom programs to manage the z/OS resources. z/OSMF also comes with various plugins to manage various aspects of z/OS. Users can get various functionalities of z/OSMF such as ServerPac Installation, guided software updates, services catalog and more.
To Build the world most simplest management system via Z systems that helps customers easily manager their resources, to contrinute to z/OS Management Facility (ZOSMF) provides a series of capabilities for System Programmers
Build High Level Design of the assigned enhancements by working/getting guidance from Product Owner
Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to prototype and implement innovative solution for the product initiatives.
Write clean, readable, scalable, and efficient code, conducting rigorous testing
Review component, and associated component code pull requests, and provide constructive feedback on the changes from team members.
Identify test scenarios and build test cases. Unit tests, functional tests, and integration tests
Incorporate test automation with the workflow processes
Perform test activities in virtual, or real environments for various levels of test including component, system, and system level integration.
Participate in weekly sprints and provide status to Iteration Manager, coordinate and giving sprint demos
Deliver the stories associated with the initiatives in timely manner.
Identify, triage, and resolve defects that are found during various test phases.
Provide timely and effective communication while collaborating with local and remote team members and stakeholders
Look for opportunities for client engagement and drive the discussions with clients and stakeholders under the guidance of product owner.
Drive various activities related to product hygiene by following the organisation security practices, Accessibility test, product builds.
Build and extend the continuous integration environment for automation of the delivery pipeline.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
A minimum of 8+ years of experience in a Full stack development role
Strong skills in developing code in Java, Python Java Script, React, Angular, DOJO experience in developing code interfaces such as REST APIs/Websockets.
Strong experience with Application servers such as Liberty , frameworks/libraries e.g., J2EE, Jakarta
Experience with data formats such as JSON, XML
Strong debugging skils and able to quickly root cause issues, experience in performing code reviews
Familiarity with and test tools
Experience with Security development tools and processes.
Software development experience in an Agile environment
Experience with DevOps tooling (Git, Jenkins, Maven, Jira, etc.)
Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. teaming), with strong verbal and written communication skills and leading a team of developers
Collaboration across disciplines and teams, able to work effectively in a global team environment.
Organizational skills. Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize a busy workload.
Experience in leading a team"
