You are a Full Stack Application Developer who will design, develop, and/or re-engineer complex application components and integrate software packages, programs, and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms. You are a good team player, and you are familiar with Agile methodologies and principles and/or have experience working in an Agile team. Responsibilities:
As a Full Stack Application Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining user interfaces using React.js and back-end applications using Node.js and related technologies. Additionally, you will also be involved in maintaining the older version of our application built on top of Backbone.js and Marionette.js. Your role will be crucial in creating efficient, scalable, and visually appealing web applications that provide exceptional user experiences.
Develop and implement new user-facing features using React. Collaborate with the design team to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality code. Optimise web applications for maximum speed and scalability. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. Collaborate with back-end developers and stakeholders to integrate front-end components with the server-side infrastructure. Write and maintain unit tests to ensure the reliability and maintainability of the codebase. Debug and resolve front-end issues and bugs. Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development. Maintain and enhance the older version of the application built on Backbone.js and Marionette.js.
Tasks: Develop reusable React.js components and libraries for future use. Build efficient and high-performing UIs that can handle large amounts of data. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Collaborate with the back-end team to design and implement RESTful APIs.
Identify and address performance bottlenecks and implement necessary optimisations.
Maintain and improve the existing codebase of the older version of the application.
Collaborate with the QA team to identify and fix front-end-related issues.
Conduct thorough testing of UI components and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
Continuously refactor and optimise code to improve maintainability and scalability.
Document code and project-related information for future reference
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Strong proficiency in React.js and its core principles
Experience working with Backbone.js and Marionette.js
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and CSS pre-processors (e.g., Sass, Less)
Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks
Familiarity with server-side CSS pre-processing platforms (e.g., Node.js)
Experience with version control systems, such as Git
Knowledge of build tools like Webpack, Babel, or similar
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
Experience with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Certification as a Java Developer
Expertise in developing models and scalable microservice components
Worked on building integration flows on various Application Programming Interface (API) development platforms
An authority on cloud native application architecture, Docker, and microservices
