Your Role and Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for testing complex software systems to ensure high-quality product integration, as well as maintaining and improving automation scripts. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to understand system requirements, identify test scenarios, and execute both manual and automated tests. The ideal candidate should have strong QA skills, some programming experience (preferably in Java), and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment. Experience or a strong interest in AI technologies will be an added advantage.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute test cases for integration testing.
Perform functional, regression, and system integration testing.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java or other tools.
Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution.
Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure requirements are well-understood.
Participate in requirement analysis and contribute to improving QA processes.
Contribute to the planning, estimation, and prioritization of testing activities.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
2-3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on integration testing.
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Hands-on experience with test case creation and defect tracking.
Basic programming skills, preferably in Java, for test automation purposes and some internal tool development.
Experience on testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and XML/JSON data formats.
Hands on Experience using Git and Github. Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
Knowledge or experience with AI technologies, or a strong interest in learning about AI.
