Job Description

Responsibilities: • Based on deep and advanced SAP ABAP technical knowledge will develop complex programs, debug, and troubleshoot. • Enlisted as a specialized technical expert will be responsible for the development and provide solutions for complex technical projects. • As a specialized technical expert will recommend and implement scalable technical solutions to complex SAP projects. • Communicate with internal business leaders/IT directors possessing various levels of technical knowledge. Determine the underlying issue when presented with sometimes ambiguous and/or contradictory information and provide technical insight. • Quickly solve/determine problems working with technical/non-technical groups in areas that may not be primary areas of expertise. • Collaborates with cross-functional team members to understand business requirements and create clear, technical specifications outlining the specific enhancement or functionality required. Supplies estimations, status updates, and escalations to ensure timely delivery of solutions. • Understands business objectives, demonstrates full responsibility and ownership of assignments and can independently prioritize projects. • Provide complex and highly visible business support and capable of diagnosing and fixing SAP technical problems. • Ensure all work is unit tested, drive systems integration testing and performance testing as needed based on project needs. • Effectively document design requirements and specifications through solid written and verbal communication  • Participate in daily stand-ups to provide updates and maintain transparency within the group and across business partners.  • Ability to work independently, in cross-functional teams. • Maintain/validate the ABAP coding standard. Educational Requirements Bachelor of Engineering Additional Responsibities: Technical and Professional Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related experience. • 5+ years of hands-on development experience with SAP ABAP. • Strong skills in all technical areas of NetWeaver - ALE/EDI/IDOC, Workflow, BAPI, BADI, Data Dictionary, API, BDCs, RFCs, SAP Enhancements (User Exits), ABAP Objects, ABAP Web Dynpro, ABAP Object oriented programming. • Hands-on experience in OData, and web services (SOAP or REST).  • Good functional knowledge of various SAP modules - SD/MM/FI. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong written and oral communication skills.   • Highly motivated self-starter.
