Job Description
Responsibilities: Automate manual tasks; Develop Backup as a Service concept; Keep Backup infrastructure compliant and healthy; Configure Data Storage, Data Protection and Distributed storage systems; Monitor daily backup process and solve incidents that may arise Monitor, maintain backup and storage environment and troubleshoot problems that may arise Follow standard processes for change, incident, problem management, audit and security Write technical operating system documentation Solve issues quickly and efficiently after hours (on-call) Educational Requirements Bachelor of Engineering Additional Responsibities: Technical and Professional Requirements: • Commvault Backup Engineer Scripting (Shell or Python or Perl)
