Job Description

Responsibilities: 1.Technically strong in basic mainframe skills and understands the workings of mainframe applications. 2. Quickly comprehend technical and business landscape of a given (set of) business application(s) along with how they interact with entities across platforms i.e. current state analysis. 3. Able to deconstruct complex problems and simplify them to build meaningful solutions with reasoning i.e. problem solving. 4. Able to bring and implement BTN (Be The Navigator) and BVA (Business Value Add) ideas along with driving the current modernization objective while working in a modernization program 5. Able to converse with the client touchpoints and speak to our various modernization offerings and capabilities. 6. Understand the end goal of a given modernization use-case, how and why it is defined that way and understand the roadmap to get there. 7. Has a good understanding of few newer and current technologies at play i.e. Cloud/Java/Python/Data Science/AI, etc. 8. Understands the partners and players currently trending in the market with the products and capabilities they bring to the table. Able to leverage them and align to organizational business objectives and modernization needs of clients. 9. Define the solutions and technology roadmap (short term and long term) for clients for a given business area. This must be based on current state analysis in (2). 10. Lead the technical delivery of POC and execution of modernization programs successfully. 11. Has excellent understanding of newer technologies and how they work in tandem with legacy technologies based on the use case. 12. Experience in having defined solutions and implemented at least 2 different modernization programs in the last 2 – 3 years 13. Able to correlate how various teams/business areas of a given client function together. 14. Able to provide a high level view of the current client enterprise landscape and how the enterprise level technology roadmap, short term and long term, should be like, for the client and take it to the leadership to make one or more business cases. 15. Strong networking skills and able to establish connections with key stakeholders in client teams. 16. Able to oversee and aid multiple modernization programs across clients/geographies while playing the key SPOC for few priority ones. Educational Requirements MTech,MSc,MBA,Intergrated course BCA+MCA,BCom,BSc,BCA,BTech,Bachelor of Engineering Additional Responsibities: Ability to work with clients to identify business challenges and contribute to client deliverables by refining, analyzing, and structuring relevant data • Awareness of latest technologies and trends • Logical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborate • Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutions • One or two industry domain knowledge Technical and Professional Requirements: None
