SAP ABAP Technology Architect
Job Description
Responsibilities: • Lead the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA solutions, considering business needs, technical feasibility, and best practices. • Analyze existing IT landscapes and develop migration strategies for transitioning to SAP S/4HANA (on-premise, cloud, or hybrid). • Deep dive into client requirements to understand their pain points and recommend the most effective S/4HANA solutions. • Craft detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment plans, and configuration guides. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, business analysts, project managers) to ensure seamless integration and project delivery. • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in SAP S/4HANA, cloud technologies, and security practices. • Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to S/4HANA deployments and integrations. Educational Requirements Bachelor Of Technology,Bachelor of Engineering Additional Responsibities: • Certifications in SAP S/4HANA (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Professional - SAP S/4HANA). • Experience with SAP ABAP programming. • Experience with SAP S/4HANA HANA database administration. • Experience in cloud-based SAP deployments. • Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams. Technical and Professional Requirements: • 15+ years of relevant SAP & domain experience with minimum of 10+ years of experience in SAP technology, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA. • Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale SAP S/4HANA projects. • In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture, functionalities, and deployment options (on-premise, cloud, hybrid). • Expertise in cloud technologies relevant to SAP S/4HANA (e.g., AWS, Azure). • Excellent understanding of system integration concepts and best practices. • Effective communication, analytical, problem solving and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Expertise in SAP ABAP OOPS, ODATA, CDS Views, FQ Events, BRF+, S/4 HANA Coding standards, module pool programming, Idocs, Workflows, enhancements etc. • Good knowledge and experience in one or more functional modules like FICO, MM, EAM, PS, ISU etc.
