Title: Manager – Supply ChainLocation: Bangalore – Electronic City SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:Provide quantitative scope information about the position that will best describe or measure its size, influence, and impact on the business. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:Support SBS & ISCO-Global Supply Chain Team. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Keep trackers up to date with most recent information on project levels.Chase sites to implement parameters internally once sourcing negotiates terms with suppliers.Communicate monthly progress report to stakeholders/leadership.Highlight and escalate issues/miscommunication among different functions involved.Help achieve inventory reductions.Data support & collection (internal / external)Assist in developing and executing sourcing strategies for direct materials.Partner with other colleagues in other functions (e.g., Production, Quality, Marketing and R&D) to identify and implement new opportunities for Cost/Inventory Savings, Supply Security, and Sustainability improvements.Support management of supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with and performance of contract terms and chasing continued improvementSupport, as a team member, strategic sourcing initiativesSupport the Sourcing Life Science Supply Security strategy by partnering closely with IT developers to ensure that design & development of user centric technical solutions efficiently address the functional requirements.Ensure the adequate connectivity of tools with existing or future systems, for all aspects of delivery, testing and transition to run mode.Make sure that existing systems run effectively and coordinate execution of enhancements and bug fixing with the relevant areas.Ensure quality and completeness of data by appropriately managing data sets.Build and run the relevant dashboards and reports to support decision-making processes to achieve our strategic ambition.Guide the sourcing teams regarding utilization of systems and tools, being first line of support and conducting trainings as required.First point of contact for escalation. Well versed in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle. Process/site specific stakeholder management. Support to COE head for strategic growth of the team. Prepare Metrics report to monitor the performance of the team. Project Progress Monitoring.Manage the SBS sourcing team in terms of people and processes as determined by the US/Europe and SBS management. Ensure maintenance of SOPs related to Purchasing. Support Global purchasing projects on a country, regional or global level.VOC from respective stakeholders. Escalation management. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Education:Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or any related field with 10+ years sourcing related field experience. Technical Skills / Competencies:APICS certification optionalSix Sigma (or equivalent) certification optionalProject managementAdvanced Excel experience and knowledgeKnowledge of current purchasing principles, methods, and techniques Behavioral Competencies:Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask/prioritize.Work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.Strong interpersonal/teamwork/analytical/organizational and time management skills.Ability to professionally communicate with multiple levels within and outside the organization.
