Job Description

Title: Specialist – Email Marketing Location: Bangalore – Electronic City SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:The Email Marketing Specialist works collaboratively with PS Marcom stakeholders to create and deploy high quality, effective email invitations, reminders, and follow-ups for the PS global webinar program. Manages and deploys emails to promote planned webinar programs.Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of email marketing projects.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Automated Email Development: Develop and deploy automated high volume single-send email campaigns that drive registration and follow-up for the PS global webinar program. Tactical Technology Application: Focus on the practical application of SFMC and SFDC specifically for email marketing related to webinars. Collaborate with the Email Marketing Manager, Marketing Automation Manager, and internal ON24 technology owners as needed to understand how to use technology tools related to the PS global webinar program and its related email marketing campaigns.Webinar Campaign Management: Execute customer-focused campaigns, audience segmentation, appropriate template usage and email creation and deployment leveraging information provided by PS Marcom on the webinar checklist. Serve as the email project manager from draft to proof stage within Lytho and collaborate directly with PS Marcom and designers on any questions related to the webinar checklist. Manage a dynamic email editorial calendar for the PS global webinar program, ensuring the timely deployment of email invitations for upcoming webinars, and providing appropriate escalation to PS Marcom when the webinar checklist due date is approaching. Collaborate closely on status of webinar email deployment to Digital Marketing partners so integrated campaign coherence can be assured.Compliance and Best Practices: Understand and adhere to CAN-SPAM and GDPR compliance to ensure email best practices and guidelines are met globally and sender score and permissions are put in place. Email List Management: Provide feedback to Email Marketing Manager as needed to help grow and maintain the PS email listsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Who you are:Education: Master’s Degree in Life Sciences, bachelor's degree in marketing/communications/journalism/digital media or a related field. Experience: 5-8 Years of experience with Marcom/scientific content writing for digital channels Technical Skills / Competencies: Proven experience in email marketing, with a focus on managing and deploying email campaigns.Proficiency in using email marketing tools and platforms, such as SMFC or similar.Strong understanding of email marketing best practices.Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Preferred Certification:HubSpot/Mailchimp/SFMC or Similar Email Marketing Certification preferred.SEMrush SEO Toolkit Course Certification preferred.Behavioral Competencies:Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Analytical skills to measure and improve email campaign performance.Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from start to finish.Result Driven.We are an equal opportunity employer that values workforce diversity.
