We are looking for a strong technologist 
• who has proven experience in developing enterprise backend application with expertise in coding, system design and solving complex problems.
• Who has good exposure and experience in working with multiple stakeholders, cross functional team members, followed iterative development methodologies and have the acumen for customer empathy and business understanding.

Meet our team
Notification Central team under Common Platform Organization, responsible for enabling businesses to reach out to their customers and merchants through various channels like SMS, Email, Push Notifications, Alerts and Webhooks. We are a platform team churning out billions of notifications every month via large scale distributed system.

Job Description:

Your way to impact

In this role you will navigate through complex architecture and designs and develop features to enhance the platform functionally as well as create stability. You will interface with multiple stakeholders to gain understanding of the business and customer ask.

Your day to day

Active participation in feature development, enhancements
Gaining domain knowledge and solve complex problems related to scalability and throughput.
Participate in design discussions and provide valuable insights
Provide solutions and fixes to issues and bugs reported against the platform.

What do you need to bring

5+ years of experience in the software development.
Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures, knowledge of object oriented design, Design Patterns and multi-threaded programming
Strong OOP skills, with ability to analyse requirements and transform into scalable software designs.
Experience with HTTP, REST API's and competent designing and building web services/microservices in a commercial setting.
Competent in design/implementation for reliability, availability, scalability and performance.
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.
Hands on Java Programming Expertise (Core Java, J2EE, Spring framework)
Hands on Building Restful Services.
Follow coding and design best practices
Experience working on SQL, NoSQL solutions with clear understanding of pros and cons of both relational & free form databases.
Knowledge and a particular interest in issues related to large scale distributed stream processing, real-time computation systems 
Ability to determine impact of architectural solutions and come up with Recommendations
Design, architect and build data systems and pipelines
Ability to navigate org boundaries and work fairly independently with limited handholding
Exhibit one team behaviour and work with several stakeholders and team members cohesively.
