We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Description Summary:

What you need to know about the role

Global Credit External Data is looking for a Data Analyst to join our team. The role will be responsible for analytics of external data relationships and support the management of the data budget for the Global Credit, Seller, and Collections Risk Credit organization

Meet our team

The Global Credit External Data Team is responsible for global credit reporting agencies (CRAs) contractual and regulatory compliance requirements as well as third party, inbound data providers. Team members are external data subject matter experts and primary points of contact across all global CRA-related activities. We are responsible for providing product requirement and platform approach to standardization and integration with bureaus, manage and optimize the data budget, provide analytics and reporting across data providers, and develop governance and controls for credit bureau reporting

Job Description:

Your way to impact  

You will work with your manager supporting development and expansion of our external data sandbox used for credit model development, risk strategy, industry benchmarking and loss forecasting.  Responsibilities will include tool enhancement, user engagement, usage reporting and management, and cost reconciliation.

Your day to day  

  • Build and manage reporting around user and usage metrics 

  • Interact with users to understand use cases, troubleshoot challenges, and grow user support 

  • Develop and manage routines around data movement and quality to ensure external data tools are accurate and current 

  • Track and monitor data vendor costs and invoice reconciliations 

 

What do you need to bring 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and above in one of the following: economics, finance, engineering, exact sciences, etc 

  • Have at least 3+ years of experience working in a credit or credit supporting function 

  • Have at least 3+ years of experience in relevant positions (e.g., decision scientist, data analyst, statistician, data scientist, risk management, credit reporting agency, credit bureau, etc.) 

  • Be a team player with strong written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills 

  • Proficiency in using SQL/Python, experienced with data visualization 

  • Have analytical skills – you must be able to analyze data, identify trends and draw meaningful/accurate conclusions 

  • Have the ability to approach problems in a quantitative and qualitative manner, and partner with the business to understand their needs, and drive solutions specifically around issue
