IT Asset Management
Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
The IT Asset Management team collaborates across Lumen's organizations to manage our hardware asset management CMDB, providing a complete and consistent asset inventory that acts as the source of record for data driven decisions.
Support the ITAM team in Asset Lifecycle Management for Servers, Databases, and Applications
Manage Data Quality and Compliance initiatives and ongoing processes
Closely collaborate with IT Operations and Application teams to maintain data integrity with critical data attributes for apps, servers, and databases
Review Process Documentation for quality assurance and identify improvement opportunities
Assist with delivery of ITAM projects in support of Corporate Security, Internal Audit, or IT Operations
Apply various analytical techniques and strategies to optimize the efficiency and quality of the data
Collaborates with the ITAM team to continuously improve data quality through automated and hands on methods
Participates in the prioritization and implementation of ITAM enhancements
Support best practices of IT operations, including change/incident/problem management, lifecycle management, asset dependencies and association
Qualifications and Experience
Strong knowledge of IT Asset Management best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and abilities to work with cross functional teams
Extensive background with IT asset infrastructure (servers, databases, storage, networking devices)
Familiarity with working across large data sets to perform analytics or recognize patterns
Experience with audit and compliance topics impacting technology asset management (SOX, PCI, CMMC, CUI)
Detail oriented with a strong customer service focus
Preferred Experience: MicroFocus Asset Manager, Flexera FNMS, ServiceNow
Preferred: 6 8 years of related experience.
