Job Title Business Analyst Supply Chain Pharma
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our R D team in the pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical research and development processes, combined with excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills. This role involves analyzing complex data, supporting strategic initiatives, and providing actionable insights to drive innovation and efficiency within the R D function.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Reporting
Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to R D projects, including clinical trials, preclinical research, and product development.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support decision making processes.
Project Management Support
Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of R D projects.
Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Facilitate communication between project teams, departments, and external partners.
Process Improvement
Evaluate and optimize R D processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to streamline operations.
Support the implementation of new tools and technologies to drive innovation.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with cross functional teams, including scientists, clinicians, and regulatory affairs professionals.
Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
Provide support and guidance to stakeholders regarding R D data and processes.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure that R D activities comply with industry regulations and standards.
Assist in the preparation of documentation for regulatory submissions and audits.
Strategic Analysis
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic decision making.
Evaluate potential opportunities and risks associated with R D initiatives.
Qualifications
Education Bachelor degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree Masters or PhD is a plus.
Experience Minimum of 3 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a focus on R D.

Skills
Proficiency in data analysis tools e.g. Excel, SQL, Tableau.
Strong understanding of R D processes, including clinical trials and drug development.
Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
