NASC tech team is hiring a Sr. Technical Program Manager (Sr. TPM) who will drive the team's roadmap along with our tech partners and make a long-lasting footprint on our organization's path towards risk and cost aware labour planning..
Key job responsibilities
This role requires working with product teams to define strategy and requirements, and lead cross functional development teams from design through delivery. You will be accountable for driving the entire product lifecycle, from product definition through specification, coding, quality assurance and launch to the world. This position involves regular communication with senior management on status, risks and change control. Cross-team coordination, agile project management and executive presentation skills are essential.
The ideal candidate is a creative, demonstrated leader/manager with superior analytical abilities. This opportunity requires excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills. The candidate is not just a policy maker/spokesperson but drives to get the right things done. At the core of the position is delivery.
Qualified candidates have experience defining projects, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional and test specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features sets as well as analyzing cost/benefit of feature selection and communicating results throughout the organization.
Knowledge of the following is required - service-oriented architecture, product development (including Java, XML, messaging protocols, and Web Services), build processes, agile project management and release schedules.
About the team
NASC org focuses on scalable and automated optimization of labour and capacity planning for our fulfilment centers through direct partnership with business stakeholders and tech partners. Advocating on behalf of NACF Operations, we are the business owners of various product suites that optimize fulfilment center planning and execution. We build and manage automated and scalable solutions that are intuitive, easy to use, and effective. We are accountable to deciding ‘what to build next’ and surfacing effectiveness of its developed solutions through sophisticated measurement techniques. The team is also responsible for the validation, pilot, deployment, and Keeping-The-Lights-On (KTLO) for any products that we develop for the business.- 7+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
