Instructional Designer, GSF L&D

Job Description

As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for designing and continuously improving our cutting-edge learning ecosystem that delivers measurable gains in learner achievement. Your role will involve leveraging data-driven insights, learning science, and motivational best practices to architect high-impact learning interventions and seamless learning experiences.

Key job responsibilities


Architect and enhance our learning ecosystem to outpace traditional learning methods, backed by tangible improvements in learner achievement data and output metrics.

Engage directly with learners and associates on the ground through physical visits, gaining insights into their learning experiences, challenges, and successes, and using these insights to drive continuous improvement of the learning ecosystem.

Mine learning platform data to uncover actionable insights and design high-impact academic interventions, leveraging learning science and motivational best practices.

Champion a culture of bold experimentation and evidence-based decision-making, harnessing data to unlock step-changes in learners' growth trajectories.

Collaborate with trainers on the ground, data specialists, and content developers, translating academic insights and user feedback into seamless enhancements in learning and Learning Management System (LMS) interventions.
Education:

A Graduate degree in any field of study

Certifications:

Instructional Design (ID) certification from a recognized institution or professional body

Experience:

2+ years of proven experience in Instructional Design, with a strong track record of designing and implementing effective learning solutions
Proficiency in utilizing instructional design models, principles, and methodologies to create engaging and impactful learning experiences
Hands-on experience in developing various types of learning materials, including instructor-led training, e-learning modules, job aids, and performance support tools
Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and authoring tools for e-learning content development
Experience in conducting needs analysis, learner analysis, and task analysis to identify training requirements and design appropriate solutions
Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and learner needs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear and concise learning content
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Proven ability to stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in instructional design, learning technologies, and adult learning principles
