Amazon India Payments is seeking an innovative, results-oriented, customer-centric leader to drive Brick & Mortar channel partnerships for Amazon Pay Balance and Gift Cards business development.

We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven leader to lead business development of Amazon Pay Balance and Gift Card solutions through offline Brick & Mortar stores. Position will be centrally based in Bangalore.
Business Development Leader in this role will serve as a key member of Amazon Pay Balance Team and work with key internal stakeholders (e.g. product leaders, legal and control functions, partners) and key external partners. This leader will lead a highly driven and innovative team with end-to-end responsibility to initiate, structure, negotiate, and close commercial agreements that enable us to offer Amazon Pay Balance Solutions to our customers through offline Brick & Mortar Solutions. This individual will contribute to the strategic development of our programs, including developing and communicating best practices across different initiatives, and be responsible for leading partnership negotiations.
He/she must be an effective communicator and negotiator working with our most important partners and corporate customers. He/she will have strong business judgment with a track record of strong ownership values and relationship management skills.
Leader in this role will be responsible for the following -
- Lead a business development strategy across geographies and channels to launch Amazon Pay Balance and Gift Card solutions with offline Brick & Mortar Channels.
- Devise pilots and launch plans to drive sales and adoption of Amazon gift Cards and Amazon Pay balance through offline stores.
- Drive value for customers, retailers, partners and amazon by interacting and building joint plans with senior leadership decision makers within these companies
- On-board new partners and retailers by providing solutions to their internal requirements, and successfully closing complex contract negotiations
- Own and cultivate the business relationship with the key partners and corporate customers with a long term vision to make the Amazon gift cards and Amazon Balance their top choice for any gifting requirement or reward program
- Drive customer insights, learnings and awareness of Amazon Pay Balance and Gift Card solutions through in-store on-site and offline marketing campaigns.
- Drive business efficiency across P&L topline and bottom-line through data deep dives and seed initiatives to achieve scale while reducing costs.
- Strong innovative approach to drive experiments for disproportionate scale and set up initiatives that drive customer value by addressing key customer needs.
- Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team of Amazon Pay for business Growth and Customer Experience.
The ideal candidate will be numbers driven, team oriented, an effective communicator, have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities. We are seeking someone with demonstrated history of driving B2B sales and relationship management. An understanding of, and passion for, e-commerce is highly desired.
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
