Instock Manager - Job Description
We are seeking a talented, dedicated, and highly analytical Instock Manager to drive selection and in-stock performance at Amazon. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in a key initiative. As an Instock Manager, you will be responsible for executing inventory strategies that optimize customer experience, sales, margin, and inventory turns. Your primary focus will be on maintaining high in-stock rates to meet customer needs. You will dive deep into the core drivers of in-stock performance and proactively identify opportunities to enhance tools and workflows. This role works closely with retail and operations teams across Amazon and is vital to the growth of this strategic initiative.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain Excellent In-Stock Rates: Ensure optimal in-stock performance for the assigned category/region.
Execute Inventory Strategies: Implement strategies that optimize sales, inventory turns, and overall inventory health.
Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Analyze and own KPIs such as in-stock rate, procurement lead time (PLT), fill rate, forecast accuracy, and inventory turns.
Forecast and Manage Inventory Flows: Manage inbound and outbound inventory health, including forecasting, purchasing, and clearing unproductive stock.
Root Cause Analysis and Reporting: Drive root cause analysis for operational issues, develop actionable plans, and manage improvement projects while juggling multiple priorities.
Collaborate and Drive Process Improvements: Work closely with internal teams to drive tool and process enhancements that impact purchasing and procurement workflows, focusing on automating manual tasks.
Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with Product Leaders: Work closely with product leaders to gather valuable insights, ensuring alignment with overall goals and making well-informed product selections.
Analyze Market Trends and Competitor Activities: Evaluate market trends and monitor competitor activities to provide data-driven insights that inform and shape strategic decisions.
Ensure Quality Input Gathering: Develop frameworks to ensure high-quality input gathering, while validating stakeholder contributions to support the product selection process.
Coordinate Cross-Functional Efforts: Lead cross-functional collaboration to maintain project timelines, streamline communication, and ensure the successful achievement of program objectives.

- 4+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience
