Job Description
As Software Development Manager, you will develop a deep understanding of our business, partner with development teams in multiple locations, and own the architecture and end-to-end delivery of software systems. As leader in WWGS for our new development center in Bangalore India, you own managing a software engineering team, recruiting and developing talent, and creating a culture that demonstrates our leadership values. You will be responsible for leading a team of talented engineers responsible for supporting numerous clients across the enterprise. The successful candidate will look at the big picture from business and technical perspectives and will have proven experience balancing sustaining and stability environment with new development to support the growing scale and deliver org vision.- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
