Job Description

Amazon is seeking a Finance Manager to join the India Operations Finance team. This role will have a
direct impact on driving the future of Amazon’s world-class operations network. You will work with senior
leadership within Operations and Finance. This will involve financial planning ad hoc analysis and special projects to influence decision-making with senior leadership. You will be responsible for financial metrics, reporting, forecasting & planning and to help business in decision support through data analysis & business insight.

Key Responsibility Areas
• Partner with Operations and other support teams to drive continuous improvement in financial
and performance
• Driving the annual operational planning process
• Ensure timely preparation and reporting of key metrics
• Partner with teams across the organization to drive optimal cross functional decisions that
maximize Amazon's long-term free cash flow
• Work on key business opportunities and drive efficiency while balancing customer promise
Finance experience with heavy emphasis on analytics and ability to work along with diverse
partner teams
• Results-oriented, highly energetic, dynamic individual with hands-on approach on advanced
analytical skills and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big
picture
• Demonstrate experience of successfully driving complex projects
• Demonstrate ability to deal with ambiguity and rapidly changing operating conditions while still
delivering to expectations• 6+ years of related experience in finance, accounting or other related analytical experience
• Experience in business forecasting and spreadsheet modeling
• Proven ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment
• Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable items; strong
analytical skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and levels of
management
• Ability to achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing environment
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads; understanding of finance issues in an
operational environment of rapid growth.
