About the team
The Amazon Music Spoken Word team powers the Podcast and Audiobooks experience across all Amazon Music platforms. Our mission is to:
Create the industry’s best discovery experience by:
Delivering personalized content recommendations
Building intuitive interfaces for browsing and discovery
Presenting content and metadata clearly across mobile, web, wearables, and TV platforms
Perfect the listening experience through:
Seamless bookmarking and progress tracking
Easy content downloads and library management
Frictionless playback across all devices
We relentlessly focus on removing barriers between our customers and their favorite spoken word content, while innovating to create the most engaging listening experience possible.- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
