Senior Program Manager, RBS : Cost to Serve

Job Description

Join Amazon’s flagship High-Risk Value (HRV) Shrink Program - a VP-prioritized, cross-functional initiative driving cost savings through strategic loss prevention and systemic defect elimination.

In this role, you will own end-to-end program governance across theft attribution, inventory adjustments and receive accuracy mechanisms. You’ll build and scale cross-functional solutions that reduce shrink, enhance root cause visibility and improve accountability across Amazon’s global fulfillment network. This includes working closely with tech / non-tech, supply chain and finance teams to influence roadmaps, drive policy and metric alignment, and shape global scaling strategies (US, CA, EU, MENA). You’ll operate in high-ambiguity, zero-to-one environments, backed by analytics, system thinking and documentation skills to drive long-term impact.

Key job responsibilities
• Own end-to-end program governance of the HRV Shrink Reduction charter, driving strategy, execution, and scaling of initiatives focused on inventory adjustments, theft attribution, receive accuracy, dwelling inventory and other supplyc chain losses.
• Dive deep into P&L-level metrics (Inventory Defects, Ops Variable Cost, Damages, Liquidations) to identify key shrink drivers, define RCA structures, and influence finance-aligned savings attribution models.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across Ops, Finance, Tech and Product to ensure aligned execution on initiatives.
• Design and scale program mechanisms including the dashboards, CPR reporting rhythms, site-level deep dives, and shrink attribution SOPs, ensuring consistency across geographies and fulfillment models.
• Support vendor- and ASIN-level shrink control for high-profile brands, by driving catalogue fixes, packaging improvements, and reconciliation frameworks for transshipment and serial scan defects.
• Drive global program expansion into Canada, EU, and MENA by tailoring core mechanisms to local process maturity, collaborating with regional stakeholders, and enabling centralized governance at scale.
• Create structured documentation and reviews including strategic one-pagers, SOPs, investment cases, and MBR/QBR narratives reviewed by leadership (including VP stakeholders), influencing prioritization and roadmap alignment.
• Operate in zero-to-one spaces with high ambiguity, identifying systemic gaps, unifying siloed efforts, and building durable mechanisms that reduce shrink, increase visibility, and unlock long-term cost-to-serve improvements.
