Sr. TPM – ROW Operations

Amazon is looking for a dynamic, innovative and customer obsessed Technical Program Manager to join our team which caters to emerging countries Operations, and focuses on automation of core operator workflows through GenAI.

As a TPM, you would drive strategic planning for GenAI technology investment in emerging countries operations. You would work across range of stakeholders across Operations including Product, Program, Relay Ops, Central Ops to ensure all key asks are captured and prioritized to form yearly roadmap. You will also work with range of technical teams across geographies to build products / capabilities to drive efficiencies for Amazon logistics and fuel the automation journey within the organization.

You will tackle challenging, novel situations every day. You would need to innovate and simplify architecture in way which allows marketplace to drive its own destiny. You should be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity that’s higher than most projects and relish the idea of solving problems that, frankly, haven’t been solved at scale before - anywhere. Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field (e.g. computer science, engineering), 15+ years of relevant work experience in software development, 8+ years of work experience in technical leadership, program management, or similar roles.
· Excellent program management, problem solving and communication skills; experience in interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
· Strong software development background with experience in software development cycle, and in managing and delivering large cross-functional programs.
· Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on programs.
· Ability to think both strategically and tactically and to drive execution. Should be equally comfortable with long term planning and day to day progress tracking and execution.
· Proven track record of taking ownership and of delivering results in a fast paced environment, including history of successfully delivering large scale projects end to end, through the entire life-cycle.

Preferred Qualification
· MBA or Advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering
· Experience with large scale distributed systems and service oriented architecture.
· Experience with Amazon Web Services and GenAI offerings
· Experience with Agile software development methodologies.

- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
