The International Emerging Stores (IES) Technology team builds products and services that solve unique customer needs in Amazon’s fastest growing marketplace. Our engineers own the complete gamification experience for Amazon India & emerging stores, work on a wide range of technologies (including AWS , ML models, Gen AI’s technology) and build and operate highly scalable, low latency mobile first products and services. We are solving the last mile engineering challenges for the next set of customers who first experience Amazon on their mobile phones.

Key job responsibilities
• Design and develop interactive gamification elements using modern frontend frameworks (React/Phaser ..etc)
• Integrate GenAI-powered features to create personalized and dynamic user experiences
• Build responsive and performant user interfaces that scale
• Collaborate with UX designers and backend teams to implement gamification mechanics
• Optimize frontend performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with WebGL or Canvas for interactive animations- 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
- 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react
- Knowledge of technologies such as JavaScript/NodeJS, HTML/CSS, Responsive/Adaptive Design
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, phaser preferred)
