About the team
The Amazon Developer MET Engineering Team plays a pivotal role within the Amazon Devices and Services organization, driving the technology that powers our growing developer ecosystem. Our dynamic, cross-functional team builds and maintains secure, compliant, and self-service mechanisms to provide comprehensive data and insights about the lifecycle journey of every Amazon Developer. Partnering with vendors and teams across Alexa and Appstore, we manage mission-critical marketing platforms, including the developer portal and digital event systems. Our DataTech workstream develops a Developer Data Platform to enable targeted campaigns and qualified lead generation. Concurrently, our WebTech team delivers reliable, scalable web infrastructure and authoring tools to engage our 3P builder community. Key job responsibilities
7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
4+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems- 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 7+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 4+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
