Job Description

As a Sys Dev Engineer I, you will design, build, and maintain Salesforce-based platforms and integrations that power critical seller-facing and internal workflows. You will work closely with product managers, TPMs, data engineers, and AWS platform teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highly reliable systems.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

4–6 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience

Strong expertise in:

Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flows, Triggers

Salesforce data modeling and security (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules)

Salesforce APIs and integrations

Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and performance

Experience building and supporting production-grade enterprise applications

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills

Key job responsibilities
As a Sys Dev Engineer I, you will play a key role in building and operating scalable, secure, and high-quality Salesforce-based systems that support critical business workflows. You will design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Triggers, and SOQL, while creating scalable data models, custom objects, and workflows aligned to evolving business needs. You will implement and maintain Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware, ensuring strong performance, reliability, and security at scale. Adhering to Salesforce best practices around governance, sharing models, data access, and compliance will be a core expectation.

A strong focus on automation and operational excellence is essential. You will automate business and operational processes to reduce manual effort, troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive long-term, sustainable fixes. You will also help build monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms to continuously improve system reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

This role also offers good-to-have exposure to AWS services such as Lambda, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and Step Functions, supporting cloud-based architectures integrated with Salesforce. You may contribute to GenAI-enabled use cases, supporting teams leveraging Amazon Bedrock or SageMaker.

A day in the life
Design and implement Salesforce features supporting seller operations

Review code and architecture to ensure scalability and best practices

Debug and resolve production issues across Salesforce and integrated systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to unblock delivery

Automate workflows and improve system efficiency

Learn and experiment with AWS and GenAI capabilities as part of long-term platform evolution
