Job Description

Develop and scale local personalization roadmap (e.g., queryless Map/Waze ads context-dependent), address and solve these technical issues in a privacy-safe compliant way.
Create a clear value proposition to strengthen the return on investment story for the non-online outcomes we drive for our customers.
Be the technical expert and guide the team towards the specified goals.
Build a firm technical culture in the team with a focus on engineering excellence and product and system health and mentor junior engineers.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development.
Experience working in software development with one or more of the following programming languages; Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, or Go.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in machine learning, large-scale distributed systems, algorithms, or investigative thinking.
Ability to own large business issues at the Google Ads level.
Ability to solve hard technical and product issues across fluid products (e.g., Map Ads, Google Local Services, Offline Ads, Messaging Ads).

Experience working in software development with one or more of the following programming languages; Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, or Go.
