Job Description

Develop strategic plans and roadmaps for optimizing procurement operations.
Lead and oversee projects focused on operational enhancements, cost-saving initiatives, and process improvements within the Procurement Operations Team.
Lead identification of inefficiencies and bottlenecks across sourcing, contracting, and service desk operations, and design and implement streamlined processes, workflows, and best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Oversee the integration and optimization of systems (e.g., procurement platforms, contract management software, service desk tools) for seamless operations.
Drive collaboration across GPO pillar teams (including GPO's Systems Team and Change Teams) and other cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, IT, and operations, to align operational goals and strategies.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
12 years of experience in procurement operations management or related roles, with a focus on strategic planning and procurement operations efficiency.
Experience with procurement processes, procedures, and best practices, identifying inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and designing and implementing streamlined processes, workflows, and best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Experience in developing strategic plans and roadmaps for procurement operations, setting goals and metrics for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

Preferred qualifications:

Advanced degree or certifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Experience initiating and leading continuous improvement programs, with knowledge of quality assurance measures and performance metrics to ensure consistency and operational excellence, and experience in implementing these measures within a Procurement Operations Team.
Experience leading and facilitating cross-functional or global teams, including managing and influencing teams of senior professionals and managers and establishing performance expectations.
Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in procurement operations management, with a focus on driving operational excellence and cost efficiencies.

In this role, you will be responsible for orchestrating operational improvements, leveraging technology, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of efficiency and cost optimization within the Procurement Operations Team to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
