Job Description

Work cross-functionally with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers to define product goals, strategy, and roadmaps. Partner with the engineering team to deliver quality experiences.
Drive the development of design solutions to user, product, and business problems.
Contribute to the direction of tools rooted in user empathy. Define feature areas with exceptional attention to detail, identifying opportunities to enhance quality and consistency across broader flows.
Connect design initiatives to business outcomes. Identify how design can drive business metrics such as user acquisition, engagement and churn. Frame design decisions in the context of business goals, articulate the impact for design efforts.
Be the go-to designer for the Google Workspace admin console Platform, shaping its User Experience (UX) strategy and collaborating on roadmaps across the Admin experience.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience in product design or User Experience (UX).
Experience in designing across multiple platforms and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with designing enterprise or business software, services, developer tools, Information technology (IT), or related software systems.
Experience with products and User Interface (UI) platforms/frameworks.
Knowledge of front-end code and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools.
Ability to communicate concepts across different audiences and levels of the organization to collaborate in product design strategy.
Excellent product thinking and execution skills on UX problems.
