Job Description

Hire and manage a team of Search engineers in Bengaluru with high visibility and impact.
Define and evolve the charter of the team with a balanced portfolio of foundational investments, exploratory bets and run the business priorities.
Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple partner stakeholders.
Plan and deliver on multi-quarter roadmaps with incremental milestones.
Develop leaders and ensure career growth within the team.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with platforms or infrastructure development, and Large Scale Distributed Systems.
Experience delivering results and making progress in a fast changing, ambiguous problem space.
Ability to articulate, influence and drive changes across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Excellent technical leadership skills and ability to mentor and grow other engineers.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
