Job Description

Collaborate across teams and partner with researchers, product managers, and geographically distributed engineering teams.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java).
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Experience in building and deploying Machine Learning (ML) models.

Preferred qualifications:

9 years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on ML.
2 years of experience managing and leading high-performing engineering teams.
Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java).

Machine Translation is foundational to Google's mission of making information universally accessible and useful. Google's Translate team provides machine translation services for all of Google's services and users, covering languages, and serving translations daily at high quality and efficiency.

In this role, you will continuously train, evaluate and launch new translation models, to ensure that Google's offerings are of best quality and meet the needs of users and clients. You will collaborate with the Research team and other teams to bring innovation.
